“You Reap What You Sow”
While this quote has negative connotations, I find myself thinking about Reap and Sow in a different light. There have been tons of posts lately on social media with photos of budding blooms captioned “spring has sprung” with promises of new beginnings, new adventures, new everything! Well, this is my “spring has sprung” post.
I walked by this field the other day (if you look closely you can even see the drops of water dancing in the air from the sprinkler!).
This farmer has tilled the field, this farmer has planted the seeds, this farmer has watered the beds, and in time, with a little bit of sunshine, this farmer will reap what has been sowed.
How cool is that?! The way I see it, is if you work hard, if you put energy into doing what you love and loving what you do, some really good stuff can come out of all of that hard work!
In this age of instant rewards, instant results and instant gratification, waiting to see the results of what you have sown can be difficult. But like the farmer and the field, with a little bit of work, a little bit of water, and a little bit of sunshine, it is possible for any of us!
In the meantime however if you’re looking for somebody to help with your “field of work” from a communications standpoint, contact me, we will get our hands dirty with you!
